Patrick Delaney, a single man, 21 years of age, residing at Young's boardinghouse, was knocked dowu by a motor-car in Hill Street yesterday. Francis William Maney aged 48, a signwriter, with a wife and family, who reside in Auckland, was found dead in a whare yesterday. He had been deaA two or three days. DEATH FOLLOWS A FALL. John Andrews, a painter living in Hyde Street, fell 40ft. from the turret or. the Salvation Army Barracks this morning, fracturing his left thigh and injuring his face. He had mounted a ladder to wash the turret. Andrews, who was a widower about 60 years oi age, died in the Hospital late this after-i noon. A CHILD DROWNED. Dunedin, May 1. A child named Wilson, aged about three years, whose parents reside at Shag Point, was drowned on Saturday, The child was missed, and on a search being made the body was found floating in the sea; but when it was brought ashore life was extinct.
