Palmerston North, May 1. _At last sitting of the Supreme CourL i r " -i 00 Edwards heard a Foxton slander action, in which Dr. Handle sued Dr. Kerr Hislop for £500 damages. It was alleged that defendant called plaintiff 1 a German. His Honour held that plaintiff had not proved the utterance alleged. The Court found for defendant, with costs according to scale.
