Yesterday afternoon, at the Lower Hutt jßecreation Ground, a united : memorial' semce for fallen soldiers was held in" the' presence of. about 300 persons.'; The Mayor (Mr. H. Baldwin) delivered 'an op-" propriato .address, prayers were offered up by the Rev. W. Beckett (Methodist)' and the local captain ■of the Salvation Army. ; The Eev. J. M'Caw (Presbyterian) iead from Hebrews XI, and an -inspiring address was given, by the Rev.: A. L. Hansell- (Anglican). Tlio service concluded with the singing of., the National Anthem. .
