ON CONSTANTINOPLE By Telegraph—Preaß Aseodation-Cocyiight .. _. !, Amsterdam,' April 16. A Turkish communique states; "Two aeroplanes asoending - from the--Darda-nelles on Friday .night', flew.",'overtConstantinople at a considerable height and dropped incendiary bombs- on two' villages, without doing any harm. Our guns drove them off." THE BRITISH ACCOUNT. SEVERAL PLACES BOMBED." ' (Rec. April 17, 5.5 p.m.) London, April 16. The Press Bureau reports: ' "Three naval aeroplanes _ on Friday evening raided Constantinople, and dropped bombs on the Zeitonlik powder factory and aeroplane hangars ; another bombed the railway station at Admnople. "Squadron-Commander Smyth'Pi ?gott and Flight-Lieutenants Satory, Dickinson, and Barnato participated. All returned safely. flight to Constantinople and back was over three hundred miles. There was fine weather at the start; but adverse conditions supervened later, with rain, wind, and thunderstorms." ....
