CITY COUNCIL
At next Tuesday's meeting .of fho City Council the- following motions will be considered:— To be moved by Councillor Barber: "That the council suggest to the Municipal Conference the desirability of urging the Government to' procure four upvtd-date trawlers for the purpose of supplying the four chief centres with a supply of.fresh fish.". By Councillor Veitch: "That tlie accounts in connection with all the council's undertakings, without exception, be in future kept on ji commercial basis, so that eacli such undertaking shall bo debited with all its full and proper charges: the amount of'rental for land odcupiea to be in eacl/case fixed 'by the City Valuer."
