TURKISH REPORT REFUTED London, April 13, 8.55 p.m. The High Commissioner reports: Regarding the report of April 12 that 3000 British dead were collected in part of Turkish trenches after the attack of 9th, Sir Percy Lake 'reports that our total of killed and wounded was much below this figure, and that the medical arrangements are generally satisfactory. The War Office report in reference to the Turkish communique that three thousand British dead were collected, says Sir Percy Lake reports that' the total casualties in killed and wounded were much below this. Tho medical arrangements are genorally satisfactory. The weather is very had. There was a hurricane, on the 12th; accompanied ' by torrential rains, and t-lie floods on both banks of the river Tigris are increasing. IN HIS MASTER'S FOOTSTEPS. TURKS USE POISONOUS LIQUIDS. Petrograd, April 13. A Russian communique says: "The Turks on the Caucasus front, failed in their attempts to recapture important sectors from which they were'recently' expelled. . 'The *enemy sprayed our troops with poisonous liquid."
