ICARORI CLUB

The Karon Defence Rifle Club fired tho concluding match of its first series at Trentliara on Saturday afternoon, at ranges of 500 and 600 sards. Tropliios for this scries were donated by Messrs. Owen Daly, Judd and Randall, W. Farquliar, and S. Dix. The conditions of the competition required at least two of these trophies to be won by handicap men. As a result, however, of the improvement this year of the shooting by the junior members, only one trophy has been won by a scratch man. Seven out of the first eight places in the aggregate are held by handicap men. The highest score of the day was pnt on by Rflmn. W. Skcgg, a junior member.
