JUNIOR CRADE'FINAL. The final of the Junior Grade was commenced on tlie Baft'n Heserve on Saturday. This match is to he played to a finish. The contestants were Petono and Boys' Institute Old Boys. Institute batted fust, Finlayson prov-ing-very destructive; four wickets were down for 38 runs. C. Murphy then batted very freely for 41 not out, and with Lake put on 31 for the last wjcket, the total eventually reaching 145. Petone could only make 45 against the bowling of W. Garrod and George Kennor. Senior batted for nearly an hour for his 8 runs, but Barber (10) was tho only man to reach double figures. G.
