BROOKLYN HARRIERS' CLUB. The seventh annual meeting of the Brooklyn Harriers' Club was held last week, Mr. J. Cuinmings presiding. The annual report, which is us follows, was adopted:—
"Tho membership of the club now stands at f>l active members, of whom I!) aro at tlio front or in camp. Tho average attendance during the season was 111. During tho season 15 club runs were held, and eight races contested. Owiug_to tho carnival the club runs on June o, 12, 19, and 26 wore cancolled, tlie club members taking part in tho various carnival athletic events. Eight members attended every club run during the season, and were granted the club's gold badge, viz., W. Coop, C. Cummins, J. Douglas, H. Ed house, E. Exton, F . G. Harlen. H. Turner, and O. A. Willis. The club championship was held on the Miramar course on September 18, and was won by N. Cummins (28min. '59sec.), with J. Douglas second hnd J. Blenkinsop third. Tho Wellington Provincial C.C.C. Championship \vas held on the Miramar course, Bix teams competing. The club's A team (N. Cummins. G. Hutton, A. C. Clapham, J. Douglas, P. Harvey, and Hori Mio) gained first honours, whilst the B team (R. Hoverd, J. Molloy, C. Cummins, C. Willis, F. Harlen, and E Exton) gained third honours. N. Cummins won tho individual championship in 27min. 29sec. —a record tor the courso. Tho clubroom was again a great.' social and financial success owing main< )y to tho efforts of the Ladies' Committee (Misses Clark and Fulton and Mesdames Hoverd and Hutton). It was officially opened bv the president, Mr. It. A. Wright, M.1., at- a social and dance held on April 22. Twenty-three social ovenings and five euchre parties were held. The rooms were also extensively used for training purposes. Tho 'ladies' bracelet' steeplechase was held on the Hutt Park course, and was socially a most successful function, there being <i record attendance of over 80 members and supporters on the course, 'The result was: K. Roverd (nominated by Mrs. Coop) 1, C. Willis 2, and IV Harvey and G. Hutton (dead-heat) 3."

The balance-sheet show<ed a credit balance of £5 17s. 2d.
