The Kaiser reluctantly consented to his resignation. It is expected the Kaiser w'ill bestow a high honour upon Von Tirpitz, CAUSE OF THE RETIREMENT. DISSENSION WITH THE CHANCELLOR. (Rec. March 17, 8.45 p.m.) Stockholm, March 16. Admiral Tirpitz's retirement, is reported to be due to dissensions with Men- von Bethmann Hollweg, the Imperial Chancellor.
