The "Times's" correspondent at Rome Bays that during the debate on the Government's economic policy several speakers criticised the Government. The Radical leader stated that the policy of the Government and the country was expressible in a phrase—"One single war against one common enemv." His party desired not a tuoro extensive war, but a more intense war. It was essential to infuse greater eneigy into the organisation of labour for the supply oi : munitions. The "Messagero" blames the Government for the ambiguity of feeling. Their growing reticence lias caused uneasiness at home and misgiving abroad.
