The mine manager of the Hauraki Beefs reports as follows :—Stasing over No. 3 level has been','in hand during the past week, and about 101b. picked stone was obtained from, the crushing dirt. Carrying along the leading stope, and timbering up above the eame. level, is in'progress. The No. 3 face is still in good 'iolintry, with a likely-loolting Teel. The No. 2 face is also showing a fine reef in good country. The Wyny-ardton reef is still small, although a little gold was seen.
