At a meeting of the Eginont County Council the Taranalu Hospital authorities were severely criticised for refusing to take in a serious case of infantile paralysis from JDpunake, tho victim being subsequently removed to Hawera. '• A resolution was carried: I hat the Egmont County Council strongly protests against the action of tho Taranalci Hospital Board in refusing to tako this patient from Opunake." During tlie week only four cases occurred in the city and 27 in the country, indicating tliat the disease is now declining. THE DUNEDIN OUTBREAK By Telegrapn—Press Association. DunediMj March 11. In connection with the infantile paralysis outbreak a case was brought in from Mosgiel last night, and is now under observation. •, Four cases" are now under observation.
