THE. WAIWETU CLUB. The annual meeting of the Waiwetu Golf Club was held at Petone on Wednesday evening. The president, Mr. R. C. Kirk, was in the chair, twenty-five members present. The annual report and balance-sheet were adopted, the club being in a very sound financial position. The following officials .-were elected:—President, Mr. It, C. Kirk (reelected); captain, Mr. A. Hobbs; secretary, Mr. G. A. Wilkes; treasurer. Mr". G. I<\ Judd (re-elected); committee, Messrs. "R, L. Townsend, G. S. Pringle, Dr. A. G. Jones, J. 11. Dawson; auditor, Mr. L. Powell. A hearty vote of thanks was given to the donors of spe--cial prizes and to the outgoing officials. It was decided to open the season ou March 18.
