WINNERS OF PROFICIENCY CERTIFICATES. On Saturday last, at To Aro Baths, Mr. W. C. Collier examined a class of candidates from Banks's College for awards of tjie Royal Life Saving Society. Following are the results:— Proficiency Certificates. — Charles Athva, Douglas W. Earle, Alister H. Macandr.ew, Fred B. Chalmers. "lon. Teacher's Certificate—John Athva. AnotEer large class from Banks's College will undergo examination for pro. fioiency certificates and bronze medak lions during this week.
