GERMAN ACTIVITY BRINGING UP MANY GUNS By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright (Rec. February 4, 11.50 p.m.) Paris, February 3. There are indications of German activity in Belgium. Many reinforcements are arriving, and it is believed that between 3000 and 6000 guns have been brought up. 1 ENEMY WORKS DESTROYED. CANTONMENTS FIRED. We destroj'ed the enemy's subterranean. works. "Sevoral enemy infantry attacks were stopped by our fire. /"Effective artillery fire in. Alsace provoked a fire in the enemy's cantonments." HEAVY SHELLINC OF LOOS. EFFECTIVELY REPLIED TO. (Rec. February 5, 1 a.m.) London, February 4. Sir Douglas Haig reports heavy enemy shelling of Loos and district was effectively replied to.
