RAILWAY FATALITY. By Telegraph—Prete Association. Dunedin, February 1. Mary Murray, aged 34, wifo of a ganger on the railway, was killed this morning during shunting operations in the railway yard at Stirling. ■ MOTOR-OAR ACCIDENT. Palmerston North, February 1. Arthur Sutherland, a well-known settler, while driving homeward, was dazzled, by tlio sun, and his car crashed into the railing at the Mangaone Bridgej and fell a distance of twelve foet, pinning Sutherland. When released j ho was unconscious, and -was found to :be gravely injured, including a fracture of tiio base of the skull.
