The Port Nicholson Yacht Club got oS several races on Anniversary Day. Mr. E. P. Bucholz's Wairere carried off the honours of tho first-class race, while Mr. Kiernan's Rawene sailed home the winner of , the second-class event. Mr. S. Elton's Wharcliou won the race for tho 20-foot«rs, and the Nan tho 14footer event. In the general handicap race, S?ajor Pethorick's Roua was first, ahd- Mr. Neill's Lizzio secona.
