a (By Telegraph—Press Association.! Invercargill, December 11. An inquest was hold at Winton regarding the death of an old man named L'eter Leichman. Evidenco showed that the deceased called a man named Daniel Casey, a German, and that Casey struck him on the head, the blow causing unconsciousness. Leichman died two weeks later. The Coroner found that death had resulted directly or indirectly from a blow. Casey has been arrested and charged with manslaughter.
