NOTE ON WEDDINGS SOME FURTHER APPOINTMENTS. In the latest "routine orders'' issued in Tauherenikau Camp is the followiug memorandum:—"For the information of those soldiers Who may be contemplating marriage during the Christmas holidays, it is notified that the office of registrars of marriages throughout Now Zealand will be closed on the following days:—From Saturday, December 25, to Monday, December 28, 1915, inclusive, and from Saturday, January 1. to Monday, January 3, 1916, inclusive. Also in the Tauherenikau orders apyears the following:—"lnformation has been received from the secretary that a Soldiers' Club lias been established in Gisborne. All troops visiting that town are cordially invited to make use of it."

At Trentham the following temporary appointments have been made:—

• Headquarters Staff.—Quarter-master Stores: Sergt. Wilson to be Q.M.S.; Sergt. Knight to be Q.M.S.; Pte. Wilson to be sergeant armourer. Army Pay Department.—Pte. Webb to be pay sergeant. A.S.C.—Supply Depot Establishment: Sergt. J. Harvey to be Sergt.-Major whilst in in charge of Supplies-May Morn Camp. "B" Campony, 10th Reinforcements— Corpl. F ,W. Morgan to be sergeant; Corpl. G .V. Go\r to bo sergeant; Corpl. P. D. Hoaley to bo sergeant; Corpl. E. C. Natusch to be sergeant; Corpl. R. T. DilLner to be Lance-Sergeant; Pte. R. G. Barr to be corporal; Pte. L. G. V. Loveday to.be corporal. 2nd Reserve Squadron—Corpl. H. C.' Tennent to be sergeant.

"B" Squadron.—loth Reinforcements: Corpl. G. H. Davey to bo sergeant; Corpl. C. W. Thorno to-be sergeant. .

At Tauherenikau the following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant:—Corpl. Waltho, I). Sqcrn., 9th, to be sergeant; Corpl. Medcalf, D Sqdn., 9th, to bo sergeant; Corpl. Preston, D Sqdn., 9th, to be sergeant; Pte. Hutton, D Sqdn.,9th, to be farrier-sergeant; Lce.-Corpl. Howlefct, D Sqdn., 9th, to bo corporal; Lce.Corpl. Bntton, D Sqdn., 9th, to be corporal; Pte. Proctor, D Sqdn., 9th, to bo lance-corporal; Sergt. Williamson, D Sqdn., 9th, to be corporal. Sergt.-Major J. Cummings, N.Z.P.S., has been appointed camp sergeantmajor at Trentham, 'vice Staff SergeantMajor (W. 0.) W. Colbert, transferred to tho Otago district.

The following men have been appointed buglers at Trentham:—Pte. J. P. Mitchell, A Sqdn., 10th; Pte. J. Windsor, 2nd Reserve Coy.; Pte. D. A. Jackson, 2nd Reserve Sqdn.; Pte. JB. D. Davies, A. Coy., 10th. Lieut. Cracroft Wilson, N.Z.F.A., lias been granted indefinite leave.
