The Minister of Defence visited the Avondale Camp and expressed satisfaction with the arrangements and work of the Tunnelling Corps. Mr. Allen read a message from His Excellency the Governor •wishing the troops every success, and regretting he was unable to inspect them owing to the near departure of the hospital ship Marama.
