VOLUNTEER SISTERHOOD
THE SECOND CONTINGENT. Tftl-CefraDh—Proßp AssocJatlon ■ Christchurch, November 23. Miss Rout, hon. secretary of the Volunteer' Sisterhood, states that the second contingent of volunteer women orderlies will be dispatched from Wellington en route for Alexandria and Malta on December 30.
Tho claims of several of the women for the next contingent are under tie medical adviser ana consideration by tho lion; secretary, but the following •havo been definitely chosen:—Mlrs. Gladys Henning, Auckland; Miss Dora Phillips, Auckland; Miss Mildred Stephens, Christchurch; Mrs. W. S. Martii) Gisborne; Miss Goorgina Jopp, Dunedin; and Miss Jano M'Lure, Dannevirke.
These women are either paying the money themselves or raising it by the aid of friends and supporters. If further subscriptions are received additional women will be chosen in accordance with merit. At present the ntnas of the Sisterhood are exhausted 111 sending away the Alexandria contingent. .
