At the Presbyterian Assembly tonight it was reported that the Aged and lnfi rm Ministers Fund now totalled £(12,8-9 and the Widows' and Orphans' l'und £41,746. A discussion took platfe on tho question of amalgamating the rands and increasing the benefits. Commenting upon the work of tho church schools, and colleges now established in the Dominion, the Moderator said these were the first fruits of a system of religious education which might one day reach all children of the Presbyterian Church.
