HOW NURSES ARE FARING. The Minister of Defence has been making inquiries bj; cable about how the nurses who survived the Marquette disaster are faring, and yesterday he received advice that theso nurses are not in urgent need. They have been re-equipped, and every nurse has received £50. The following nurses who were on the ill-fated transport are returning to New Zealand by the Tahiti on light duties: —140 Nurse M. T. Looney, 64 Nurso 0.. Blackie, 80 Nurse E. MacLeod, 77 Nurse H. V. Hooker, 174 Nurse E. A. "Wilson. Other nurses who aro not yet fit for duty are going to tho convalescent home at Luxor, Egypt, until well. They are: 91 Nurso E. L. Wilkin, J64 Nurse V. M'Cosli Smith, 158 Nurse E. Poppel. well, 168. Nurso M. R. Walker.
