KARORI DEFENCE CLUB
The Karori Rifle Defence Club fired a teams', match on Saturday at the Trentham Riflo Range. The weather conditions were favourable to shooting, although • the wind 'was >very patchy and tricky. ' On account of the parade of the Eelnforcements on Saturday afternoon the Old Naval Club'postponed the shooting competition ■■till next Saturday week. On Saturday next, the members will be going to Trentham to shoot at ranges of 800 and. 000 yards for trophies presented by Messrs. Herbert Hill and Son. Two prizes have teen allotted to each the A and B team. A good muster of members ia expected to take part in this long lange mateh. , :
SUBURBS CLUB. The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club continued their trophy shooting on Saturday at their range, Miramar, the ranges fired being 500 and 600 yards, a 10-shot match. The weather was not good shooting weather. Next Saturday tho club's seniors (0)11 visit Trcntham for long-range shooting—9oo and 1000 yards.
