SUPREME COURT
A FARMER'S WILL. In the Supreme Court yesterday, His Honour Mr. Justice Edwards heard an originating summons in the matter of the estate of John David Heagerty, deceased farmer, formerly of Grey'town. Tho summons was in "the form of an application to the Court for direction in regard to certain matters mentioned in the will. The plaintiffs in the action were the executors and trustees' of the will, namely, J.' W. Card, solicitor, of Feathorston, ■ ■■ and A. 0: Considine, farmer, of Martinborough. 'The defendants were the.deceased's widow, Elizabeth Hilda Heagerty, of. GroytowTi, and certain relatives living beyond the' Dominion.
Mr. A. A. S. Menteath appeared for the executors, while Sir John Findlay, K.C., with him Mr. Clere, appeared for tho widow. The defendants living beyond the Dominion were represented by Mr. J. W. Macdonald, solicitor for the Public Trustee.
After hearing legal argument, His Honour reserved decision.
