Sir, —Why is it that many German businesses in Australasia are being conducted by the State, who will hand businesses and profits over to tho German owners after the war? If a German ship is collared it is promptly sold ou behalf of the Admiralty, and the proceeds don't find their way,to Germany, and a ship is just as much a, business as anything else.—l am, etc., WILLIE.
