CRICKET
THE THORNDON CLUB. Mr. H. Buck presided at tho annual goneral meeting of tho Thorndon Cricket Club last night, .when the annual report and the balance-sheet (showing a satisfactory credit)' were adopted. Several new members were clected, and it was decided to enter two teams for tho Junior Association's Championship, and to commence practice at Anderson Park to-morrow. Election of officers resulted as follows President, Mr. T. F. Martin-vice-presidents, Dr. A. W. Izard, Messrs. H. Buck, J. T. King, W. II Turnbull, C. Stewart, A. E. Pearce, T. Kingston, and M. H. Dawson; lion, secretary, Mr. R. F. Robinson; lion, treasurer, Mr. G. E. Martin; Management Committee, Messrs. B. L. Salmon, J. W.- Black, K. Wilson, tho secretary, and the treasurer; delegates to t'fioJunior Association, Messrs. J..W. Black and (J. E. Martin; Selection Committee, Messrs. H. Buck, B. L. Salmon, and G. E. Martin.'
