Tegner applied to transfer Section 46, Pohoifui V.S., 32 acres 2 roods 37 perches, to Walter Wright, and it was resolved to recommend amendment of the regulations to permit of one person holding more than one allotment. The Waimarino County Council submitted proposals for the expenditure of "thirds" accrued to March 31 last, amounting to 17s. 7d„ and it was resolved to approve subjcct to investigation by tho ranger, and so far as the amounts are available.

Sub-leases were granted as follow:—Section 11, Block X, Oi-aulnira, ICG acres 1 rood; Public Trustee, in <atnte of T. Laurenson (deceased), to J. N. Banks. Section 50, Levin V.S., 10 acres, (Mrs.) 33. Campoell to R. Locke; and Section 273. Block VIII, Wainuioru, 357 acres, (Mrs.) 51. A. Read to B. B. Vennell. An application for fee simple respecting Section 18, Block 11, Maungakaretu (200 acres), by K. T. M. Durham,' was approves. Tlie following milling licenses were grantedßlock IV, Kaitieke, 110 acres, milling license, John Prouse, total royalty .£332 18s. 9d.; and Block IV, Kaitieke, and Block X, Hunua. 185 acres, milling license, Matai Sawmills Company, total royalty' JC66O. It was resolved to grant J. H. GaTmondsway a permit to occupy Sections 8 and 9, Block X, Mataroa Township, under Section 130 of the Land Act. 1908, at a rent of .£1 per annum.

Gardner and Yeoman applied for a lease of Section 73. Block VI, Maktiri S.S., area 11 acres, and it was resolved to grant them a license to occupy for a term of five years, at a Tent of i£l per annum. In continuation of the board's resolution of July 29, 1915, with regard to Messrs. Adsett and Manning's application for a mill site, it was resolved to approve the location of the site where chosen by them, and to fix the rent at £1 ss. per annum. T. and M. Mugridge renewed their ap-' plication for part of Section G. Block XII, Manganui, as a site for their workers' cottages, and it was resolved to refer to the ranger for a report. The licensee of Section 11, Blockl, Mt. Cerberus, having applied for the freehold, paid the purchase money, and complied wit'h the conditions of his license, it was resolved to recommend tho issue of the Crown grant to him under Section 174 of the Land Act, 1908. Mrs. E. Meehan applied to be allowed to purchase Section 90, Block XIII, Manganui survey district (area 4 acres 1 rood 24 perches) or to obtain a permanent lease of it, and it was resolved to give her three months' notice of determination of her present license and to approve of five years' lease being granted to her at a rental of ail 10s. yearly.
