RESULTS' OF SATURDAY'S GAMES. A team representing Wairarapa schoolboys was defeated by the Wellington Schools by a fairly large margin.. Karori won the double in their two matches—senior and junior—against University. . • Schoolboys' Match, Wellington Schoolboys met and defeated Wairarapa Schoolboys at Karori Park. Although the score was 8 goals to. five in Wellington's favour, it does not indicate the game: The boys gave a very good exhibition, and interest never lagged. In tho first half Wellington rattled on five goals in quick succession, and had it not been for the excellent play of C. Moore, 'the local goal-keeper, ' AVairarapa would have mounted up a larger score. Tho visitors had much the better of tho game in tho second half, but towards the end they appeared to tire. B. Philpots (1) and H. Forest (4) scored for, Wairarapa. For Wellington, B. Smith (2), E. Baine (3), and C. Porter, M. Watchman, and R. Sissons scored- goals. Senior. . After a very fast, interesting game, Karori defeated University by the narrow margin of 4 goals to 3. Both teams were lit, and the result was that the spectators were treated to a good exhibition of hockey. Whittacro, Stratton (2), and Heapy scored for Karori, and Cleghorn, Jones, and Foden for University.' ' ' j Junior. In the junior fixture between Karori and University, Karori won by 1-goal to nil. The score was made by Adams.'
