'' OPENING OF THE SEASON. _ Thanks to the ideal weather conditions of the past week or two the opening of the bowling season, fixed for tomorrow afternoon, promises to be most successful, as.far as the greens are concerned at all events. The clubs which are to throw / their greens open tomorrow aro the Wellington, Newtown, Victoria, Petone, Khandallah, and Seatoun. • The opening of the Thorndon and Lyall Bay Clubs has been fixed for to-morrow, week.
