Owen, tho Wellington provincial amateur champion, an exhibition game of 1000 points. . The professional will concede 500 points. As Mr. Owen is a player with considerable match experience, the contest ,is expected to prove exciting. All item of interest in connection with this exhibition is that Mr." Owen iB a capable exponent of tbe old style of' all-round billiards, whilst Mr. M'Conachy has adopted the modern idea of gaining points by means of the losing hazard, so spectators will have an opportunity of judging both styles. The contest will take place on ail Alcock Tudor table with match-pockets.
