FOUR NEW AWARDS. (By Telegraph.—Press Dunedin, September 4. Four awards of tile Arbitration' Court wore filed to-day. As to the tally clerks, ilio Court, allowed John Mill and Co. to continue to 'pay Is. 3d. an hour and 2s. overtime; other employers, Is. 6d. and 2s. Gd. The farriers' award embodies the recommendation of the Conciliation Council. In tile soapworkcrs' new award tlio minimum wages are fixed at Is. 2d. hourly, the same as in Canterbury." The bottlers' award embodies the recommendation of the Conciliation Council, but a new clause is added providing' that if women are employed they, shall fce paid tlie sanio rate as others.
