EAST"PRUSSIAN BISHOPS EXTOL' THE KAISER, By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrisht Amsterdam, August 22. A conference of Roman. Catholic bishops at Fulda, Prussia, telegraphed to the Kaiser: "Thanks for the powerful protection with which the SuprAme. War Lord and his glorious army have guarded .tho homes and altars of the Fatherland against a host of enemies. Wo pray to God' to bless His prince and people, and speedily grant an honourable peace. ' ' 1 Tho Kaiser replied: "God has so far' graciously heard our prayers for victory, and we confidently hope that He will, after the struggle p.nd victory,, cause an honourable beneficent peace to arise from this bloody seed."
