London, August 19. oir John French reports:—"There nave been no important incidents since my communique of August 10, when we recaptured the positions at Hooge. The consolidated trenches there! have since been subjected to occasional bombardment, but there has been no infantry righting, except two small bombing attacks on Tuesday, which were easily repulsed. There'have been intermittent but unimportant artillery engagements on the remainder of our front."
