GERMAN SUBMARINES AT ANTWERP

Amsterdam reports that the Germans havo been engaged since March at Antwerp in the construction 'of nine submarines, but that only two are now on active service. One was destroyed on April 28 by three English aeroplanes; the others are still unfinished. Close precautions are being taken to prevent Allied aeroplanes from bombing the ■ submarines.. An iron-barred roof has been erected; the building is covered wit'h sacks of sand and surrounded by high walls.
