Sir, —The public, the patriotic portion of it at least, owe you a debt of gratitude for the stand you have taken in , tho Von Zedlitz scandal. It stands dub in strong contrast with' the conduct of a ■ majority of tho College • Council, ' and , equally should Mr. Chas Wilson bothanked for his conduct in the affair. There is 110 greater scandal of its kind , in the British Empire. This matter should not be allowed 1 to drop, and it.ia the more unsavoury because the "in--quiry" was no inquiry at all. We want ; no Germans in positions of trust here. We want no pro-Germans on public hod* ies—l am, etc., BRITISHER. -
