The following information has ■ been received concerning sickness in. tho Various military hospitals during the twenty-four hours preceding noon, ou Thursday' Palmerston North—No serious cases. Total cases on August 4, 58, comprising measles 36 and medical 22. Waikanae.—Admissions nil; discharges, 2; convalescent, 26; measles, 11; minor surgical, 4; observation, 2; influenza, 3. Kaiwarra—All patients wero discharged. Featherston—No ;seriou3 cases. Measles, 15; German measles, 1'; scarlet fever contacts, 6; eczema, 1; minor surgical cases, 4; bronchial asthma, 1; sore throat,_ 1; neurasthenia, 1; sciatica, 1; varicose vein, 1; lymphangitis, 1; intercostal neuralgia, 1; rheumatism, 1; scarlet fever, 1. Wellington—Of tho serious cases ono shows no improvement; 3 improved; admissions., 2, neither acutely ill. No discharges! No new serious cases. Trontham.—All porebro-spmal meningitis cases improving except 2, one of whom is dangerously ill and the other not, so well. No - development among suspects. Others doing well. Solway.—All patients discharged this morning; ... The total number of cases of all kinds of sickness in the military hospitals on Thursday was 319, as against 401 on Thursday of la6t week.
