MOCK COURT AT HASTINGS

"RED DANDIES" RAISE £1417.(By Telegraph.—Pro6s Association.) Hastings, August 2. 'Mr. Branscombe's "Red Dandies" held' a mock court at the railway crossing this afternoon, and as a result of box collections by lady members of tho company and lines inflicted by Judgo Dampier, the Wounded Soldiers' Fund benefits to tho amount of £1417. The fines included three of £100 each, three of £50, eight of £25, and four of £20, tho balance being made up in small amounts. Very few citizens escaped falling into the arras of the special constables.

The whole of the nioney has been handed over to the local secretary of t'lic fund. Tho members of the . com; pany worked very hard, and merit the thanks of the community.
