SOME OP THE AWARDS. ' (By Tcleswph— I'ress Association.) i Christchureh, July 14. The Court of Directors of the Royal Humane Society made the following awards to-day:— In the case of Charles J. F. Lansdown (42), for rescuing William Guthrio (45) from drowning at 'Wellington on December 11, 1914; a letter of commendation. In the case of James Gordon (45) for" attempting to rescno Elizabeth and Lawrence Kesyler from drowning at< Deep Creek on January 15, 1915; a bronze medal.
In the case of Ronald John Stephens (12) for attempting to rescue Taranga Molii from drowning at West Shore - on February 14, 1915; letter of commendation.
In the case of James A. Wesfcwood (30) and Walter A. "Smith (31) for.rescuing Mr. James from drowning- at Lyall Bay on May 2, 1915; no award, as there was no personal risk.
In tho case of Albin R, Durbridge (28) for rescuing Sydney Shaw (26) from drowning at Panmurc on December 5, 1914; bronze medal.
