AN INTERESTING RAFFLE. : The period of raffles has not yet exhausted itself. One 'that is still open to. the public, consists of a number of valuable household articles in. metal, which have been made in the Wellington Gas Company's_ workshops by the men in their own time for the benefit of tlie St. Jolm Ambulance Association. The articles consist of a valuable copper fender (a feature of whidh is a metal plaque! representing tlife stand made by the last gun of Battery L at Mons, cleverly,modelled from a picture by Mr. H. Coleman), a coal scuttle, a coffee pot, two copper ivater'jugs, and two copper kettles. There is only one prize—the holder of the lucky, (ticket •gets;the lot—for one shilling. ■ JOTTINGS. The following art unions promoted by the Tramway Boys are open until July 10: —£1000 gold nugget, £500 motor-car, monster art union,' piano, silver tea and coffee' service and the £5 gold nugget.
