NINETEEN TOMMIES KILL SEVENTY TURKS. (Rec. June 24, 9.45 p.m.) Cairo, June 24. The wounded from Gallipoli narrate a heroic fight by nineteen men of the Munstors on June 5. The' Turks surprised them while they were unsuspectingly watching the warships' bombardment. Tho Mnnsters refused to surrender, and fought like demons, using their bayonets whenever the Turks apn:hed. When assistance came seventy Turks were found, while the number of wounded was not known. Eleven of the Munsters wore killed and foui wounded.
