Messrs. DaJgety end Company, Limited, report having..held. their weekly eale in their Levin yards on Wednesday, when they offered a pood'yarding of both sheep and cattle. Competition was very keen throughout the sale for all classes of sheep, but cattle met with gather a dragging sale. The firm disposed of all lines of sheep (with the exception of one and a good many lines of cattle. Qnotations: Wether hoggets, 12g. 7d„ 13s. Zd.; lambs, 9s. 6d„ Us. 6d.; empty ewes, to 16s. od.; full-month ewes in lamb, 15s. 7d.; fat ■wethers, 245. 3d., 255., 265.; fat ewes, 235. 3d.; two-tooth "wethers, 18s. 10d.; weaner steers, 16a. to 205.; yearling heifers, 395. 6d.; store cows, £5 10s.; springing heifers, £3 178. 6d.; porkers, 319., 335. 6d., to £2. The New Zealand - Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.,' Ltd., report:—We held our usual weekly sale at' Pahiatua on Tuesday, when We offered a ; very good yarding of sheep to a large attendance of buyers froin the local and outside districts. Competition was spirited throughout the sale, and prkee were considerably higher than those ruling the previous week, and we have to report a total clearance under the hammer. Following are our principal sales i—On account of Mr. W. J. Tonkinaton, 159 fouryear ewes in lamb to Lincoln rams, £1 4s. 4d.; 194 four and six-tooth do., £1 Ms. Id.; 90 mixed-sex lambs, 14s. 2d.; account Messrs. W. and J. M'Avoy, 230 two, four, and sixtooth ewes, £1 os. M.; aged rams made from 6s. to 6d. to 17s. 6d.; mixed weaners, 18s. 6d. Messrs. TV. and G. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly eale in their Waipoua, (Hasterton) sale yards on Wednesday. A good yarding as advertised came forward, and was offered to a good attendance of buyers, and a £ood clearance was made at the following prices :-Sheep: BP. lambs, lis. Id.; woolly lambs, 13s. 10d.; medium, lis.; small shorn lambs, 95.; small b.f. two-tooths, 155.; f.m. ewes in lamb to S.D. rams. 195.; f.m. ewes in lamb to S.D. rams (low condition), 13s. Zd. Cattle: Fat cows, £6 17s. 6d.; fat heifers, £6 10s.; tot threc-ycar steers, £8.
