ASSOCIATION
THISTLES MEET CORINTHIANS. At a brief meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association last evening it was decided that Corinthians and Thistle will meet on Newtown Park on Saturday afternoon next at the combined sports gathering in aid of the Queen Carnival Fund. It was reported that arrangements were well in hand for the Wellington Football_ Association's sports _ carnival, which will be held on the Basin Reserve on- Saturday, Juno 19. A letter was received from Mr. A. Bolton, a member of the committee, tendering his resignation. - The letter contained certain allegations against another _ member of the committee. After discussion, it was decided to ask Mr.' Bolton to bring forward proof of bis statements, and. produce them at tho nest meeting of the committee. The resignation has been hold over pro tern.
