(By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) Pahiatua, May 29. The annual meeting of the Pahiatua A.. and P. Association was held this afternoon. Mr. C. Avery (president) said tho year had been a record one. Exhibits showed a great improvement numerically and in the quality. Ho 'quoted the opinions of the judges of stock concerning the excellence of exhibits. Several improvements to the grounds were either in band or proposed involving an expenditure of £100. Tho inaugural ram fair held in conjunction with the Associated Auctioneers was a great success, and would be made an annual fixture. The secretary (Mr. Walsh) was voted a bonus of £25. It was decided to donate £10 to the Belgian Relief Fund. The question of next year's horticultural snoiv was referred to the incoming committee.
