Details of the capture nu April 23 of the schooner Elfruda show that she was returning from a trading trip among the islands when she was seized at _ Tonga by warships, the British Hag hoisted, and a prize crew placed aboard. It is understood the vessel was sent to Suva, to be dealt'with hy a Prize Court. She belonged to a German firm with large trading interests in. the group, was registered at Tonga, and Hew the Tongan flag. [A previous message stated that the capture of the Elfreda signified the complete disappearance of the German flag from the Pacific.]
