FOOTBALL
RUGBY UNION. A meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby Union was held last night. Mr. D. Weir presided. It was decided to grant one football to the Terrace School and two to the Lower Butt District High School. A request was made by the Berhampore Club that one of their teams should bo drawn to play at Wakefield Park each Saturday. It was decidod to arrange for this whenever possible. The secretary of tho Referees' Association wrote notifying that tho regular fortnightly meetings of the association would bo commenced from May 3. Arrangements for Saturday's military match were made. Mr. L. Simpson has beon appointed the'referee. It was decided to make the iirst draw for the championships at a special meeting on Saturday night.
