BOXING ASSOCIATION
ANNUAL MEETING. There was a good attendance of-mem-bers'at tho annual meeting of the Wellington Boxing Association, held in the Chamber of Commerce last evening. Mr. Ernest Blundell (president) occupied the chair. The annual report (which has already been published) was passed. The bal-ance-sheet showed a cash balance or £482 10s, 3d.,' and the balance of assets over liabilities, £556 2s. 3d., which was considered quite satisfactory. The election of officers resulted aa follows Patron, the Eight Hon. Sir Joseph Ward; president, Mr. R. W. M'Villy; vice-presidents, .Messrs. H. Nelson, J. H. Owen, J. L. Day, E. A. Blundell. John Fuller, C. B. Rodgers, L. George, and Dr. H. J. M'Lean; committee of management, Messrs E. A, Dawson, P. Gale, N. Coffey, C. E. Bridge, W. W. Cook, D. 11. Hoggard, W. A. Fordham, H, D. Smith, and J. E. Staples; honorary medical examiners. Drs.' Gilmer, Harding, Tolhurst, Hislop, M'Evedy, Martin, Herbert, and: Steele; honorary solicitor, Mr. T. M. Wilford; representative in Australia, Mr. W. Lawless; honorary auditor, Mr. R. A. Aekins; honorary treasurer, Mr. B. A. Guise; secretary, Mr. W. G. Talbot.
