ARREST ON CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER. • (Br IWeiirepli.—Press Association.) Invercargill, April 16. A coronial inquiry was held to-day regarding the death of William Jackson, aged 33 years, who died ,as the result, of injuries. received on Easter Monday evening, when a. motor-oar. driven by Louis Fosbender, collided with tho cart drivon by deceased. After a hearing lasting six hours, the Coroner found that death was due to rupture of the liver caused by deceased's being violently thrown from a cart in consequence of a. collision with a motor-car negligently driven by Louis Fosbender. Fosbender was arrested and charged with manslaughter, but was remanded 1 till Wednesday, bail being fixed at £500.
