PROFESSIONAL N BANTAM CHAM(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Timaru, April 15. Boxing for the professional bantam championship of New Zealand, J. Ladbury (England), Sst. 01b., easily beat O. Stewart (Timaru), Bst. 41b. In the third round Stewart went down twice for !) sec. In the first round he complained that his left arm had been injured. '1 his was Ladbnry's first appearance in New' Zealand. He is said to have had 160 contests at Home. In a preliminary for bantams, H. Gunn (Timaru) boat J. Stone (Cbristchurch), and Morris (Kaiapoi) beat Easton (Oamaru) on points.
